The colleagues from the Goethe Institute (Ukraine) visited WOA (Dnipropetrovsk) during their business trip to DOUNB Library in Dnipropetrovsk.
Ms. Susanne Teichmann, the Head of the “Information and Libraries” department, and the department’s assistant Ms. Hanna Zhuravliova met the WOA’s staff member Ms. T. Gavryliuk . The German colleagues were told about the activities most popular among the WOA’s patrons – the English-speaking club GABFEST and the Wednesday Movie Club. The recent initiative was also introduced – the free express course of English for DOUNB Library patrons.
The project “Year 2016 – the Ears of the English Language” and WOA’s participation in it was mentioned as well. The Kiev colleagues said they are looking forward to the similar initiative about the German language.
We talked about the German speaking clubs and volunteers in Dnipropetrovsk and their cooperation with DOUNB Library.
