Sharing the Best Professional Practices

In the framework of the project “Discover USA” the WOA staff member T.Gavryliuk delivered a lecture to the students of the National University for Culture and Arts local faculty. The students’ major was “The Art of Hair design” and they were introduced to the US Beauty Industry.
The group’s lecturer and WOA’s long time friend Ms. L. Goncharova  suggested to focus on the interior design  of American beauty salons. The US professional magazine “Modern Salon” was introduced to the group as well as its web page.
A good illustration to the topic was a success story of a leading US hair colorist Michael Boychuk who has Ukrainian roots .We watched a video tour of his Salon in Las Vegas Cesar’s Palace Hotel. Several other relevant videos were demonstrated to showcase middle-range salons in the USA.
At the end of the session the students were informed about the opportunities to study in the USA.
The lecturer and the WOA administration discussed plans for cooperation in the future.
