Head of the
Center "Window on America" Svetlana Usenko visited the students of
the economics department at the Dnipropetrovsk National University.
She informed
them about the WOA Center’s electronic resources and gadgets that may help one
to improve the English language skills. She mentioned the possibility to meet
USA volunteers who visit the WOA center on a regular basis.
The
students were invited to visit the WOA Centre on Wednesdays for the Movie Club
and on Saturdays for the Speaking Club.
The last
donations by the U.S. Embassy in Ukraine were also introduced – iPad and
Kindle.
The
knowledge of the English language is a prerequisite of a dynamic career and
global mobility. We hope to meet the DNU economics students at the WOA
activities in the immediate future.
The number
of participants – 90 persons.
