On 22th of November the head of Window on America Dnipro (Ukraine) Svitlana Usenko visited
the local high school № 22.
Svitlana U. has presented to school students a popular American holiday – Thanksgiving –
and the way it is celebrated in the United States. From the WOA’s slide presentation the students learned
about the main symbols and characters of this holiday. They watched videos.
Students received a good mood for the day, new
cross-cultural knowledge and additional motivation to study English.
