Today the
WOA Center was quite busy!
On the St.
Valentine’s Day a group of 40 pupils from the secondary school #23 visited our
facility.
The
teachers Ms M. Abramova and Ms.J.Sypalo have been at our Center before and
decided to introduce it to their students as well.
The
students watched a slide show about the history and traditions of the St.Valentine’s
day, sang children songs about love and friendship, reviewed a W.Disney’s
cartoon “Two chips and a Miss”.
The
students prepared and performed a short scene about St.Valentine. The boys and girls looked forward to the game “”St.Valentine’s Post”. Before the holiday the schoolchildren wrote and collected in a postbox Valentine letters. On St.Valentine’s Day two postmen delivered Valentine letters in English to the classmates.
The visit
was a lot of fun and we hope to see the kids again soon
